FRANKLIN LAKES, N.J. (AP) - A construction worker was seriously injured Wednesday when a large piece of sheet metal fell on him, authorities said.
The accident occurred around 8:40 a.m. as the man worked at a site behind the fire department headquarters in Franklin Lakes.
The victim, a 59-year-old Saddle Brook man, suffered severe head trauma and was flown to a hospital. But his name and further details about his condition were not disclosed.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation,
