LAS VEGAS (AP) - A major intersection near the Las Vegas Strip was without power Monday following a car crash.
Police say a vehicle struck a traffic light control box at Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis Jr. drives around 1:20 a.m.
The male driver and an adult male passenger emerged uninjured. Impairment is believed to be the cause of the crash, investigators said.
County workers were working to restore power but authorities said it would be out for several hours.
Motorists are urged to avoid the area.
