JERICHO, Vt. (AP) - A new enlisted chief of the Vermont Army National Guard’s 86th Infantry Brigade Combat Team is set to assume his new role during a Saturday ceremony at a guard base in Jericho.

During a ceremony scheduled for the Ethan Allen Firing Range the current Command Sgt. Maj. Paul Edwards is due to pass responsibility to Command Sgt. Maj. Todd Gagnon.

The command sergeant major is the senior-enlisted advisor to enlisted members of the brigade while serving as council to the unit commander.



During the Change of Responsibility ceremony the unit flag will be passed from Edwards to Gagnon.
