BOSTON (AP) - A man was found carrying a .32-caliber gun loaded with eight bullets at a Logan International Airport checkpoint, the Transportation Security Administration said Friday.

TSA officers said they stopped the man, who was from Hancock, New Hampshire, when they saw the handgun as his carry-on bag entered the checkpoint X-ray machine.

The TSA contacted the Massachusetts State Police, who confiscated the gun and detained the man for questioning before allowing him to return the gun to his vehicle.
