LAS VEGAS (AP) - A 70-year-old Las Vegas man faces up to five years in prison after pleading guilty to one count of selling firearms without a federal license.
George Stone is scheduled to be sentenced May 5 by U.S. District Judge James C. Mahan.
Stone pleaded guilty Wednesday, admitting he sold dozens of guns without a license.
Federal agents seized approximately 30 guns during a search of Stone’s home and Stone will forfeit the weapons as part of the court case.
According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for Nevada, many of the seized guns had price tags and were marked for sale.
The office said the case was part of Project Guardian, a Department of Justice initiative to reduce gun violence and enforce federal firearms laws.
