ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - A woman riding in a car that authorities suspect was stolen died from injuries she sustained after the car crashed, Albuquerque police said.

Police now are looking for the man who was driving Tuesday night and ran off.

An officer tried to pull over the car in southeast Albuquerque, but it didn’t stop. Instead, police said the car veered into oncoming traffic and collided with a pickup truck.

The woman was taken to a hospital but didn’t survive, police said.

The truck’s driver wasn’t injured.

No identities were released.
