LAS VEGAS (AP) - A fast-moving fire fanned by wind displaced 19 people, heavily damaged one building and scorched outside walls of two others at a Las Vegas apartment complex.

Approximately 75 firefighters responded to the blaze Tuesday afternoon, Las Vegas Fire and Rescue said.

No injuries were reported.

Cause of the fire was under investigation but witnesses told the fire department that the fire started on the outside balcony of a second-floor unit.

Several units were burned, and the American Red Cross was assisting the 14 adults and five children who were displaced.

Damage was estimated at $500,000.
