MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) - Three Manchester police officers were stabbed Tuesday while trying to arrest a man, authorities said.
The officers were responding to a home for a domestic situation among family members at about 3:30 p.m. when they encountered a man who would not come out of a room.
The suspect did not listen to police telling him to come out, and when they went in, he attacked the three officers with a knife, according to a news release from the Manchester Police Department.
The suspect was eventually arrested.
The officers injuries were not life-threatening. They were taken to a hospital and one of the officers has since been released.
