MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough and his “Morning Joe” guests were none too pleased Tuesday morning with the Democratic Party’s chaotic Iowa caucus.

One of President Trump’s staunchest critics unloaded on the Democrats for their “crappy app,” which has delayed results and caused widespread confusion among primary voters.

“The world’s watching this. We’re not being melodramatic,” Mr. Scarborough said. “For a year and a half, American politics has been focused on this moment, and the Democratic Party has a crappy app and say, ’well, nothing happened to the app.’ But then you’re hearing the reports that something did happen to the app. Was there election interference? Did somebody try to hack into the app? Was it just pure incompetence?”

Associated Press White House reporter Jonathan Lemire replied that Americans were witnessing a “disaster on every level” unfold.

Mika Brzezinski also wondered how much information might be “gone” for the foreseeable future.

“Is the information lost? Is it gone?” she asked.

The fiasco has another level of political intrigue added to it because that company responsible for the app — Shadow Inc. — is tied to members of Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign.

Gerard Niemira and Krista Davis both worked on the former secretary of state’s campaign.

Shadow Inc. boasts on its website: “We are campaign and technology veterans who have built and implemented technology at Hillary for America, Obama for America, Google, Kiva, Apple, the AFL-CIO and the DNC.”
