HOOKSETT, N.H. (AP) - Police have released the name of a woman who was struck by a car and killed in Hooksett.

WMUR-TV reports that 43-year-old Prairie Champagne died after being hit by a car Wednesday afternoon.

The driver initially was charged with driving with a suspended license. The crash remains under investigation. Police said they don’t know whether further charges are coming.
