SHARON, Vt. (AP) - Vermont highway crews are expected to be at work Wednesday cleaning up a rockslide that fell onto the shoulder of Interstate 89 in Sharon.

The Vermont State Police said several large boulders came crashing onto one of the roadway’s northbound lanes at approximately 4 p.m. Tuesday.

One passing vehicle was damaged when it hit some of the fallen rocks. There were no injuries.

Cones were used to mark the debris and crews are expected to be on the scene Wednesday to complete the cleanup.
