Officials find loaded handgun in bag at Boise airport

BOISE, Idaho (AP) - TSA security guards found a loaded handgun Thursday at the Boise Airport, officials said.

The Bellingham Herald reports that workers found the loaded 9mm handgun in the carry-on luggage of a man who was heading to Seattle, according to a Transportation Security Administration news release.

“This is the second firearm discovered there in 2020,” the news release said. “Reminder: guns should always travel in checked luggage.”
