GREENWOOD, Ark. (AP) - A 19-year-old man driving a truck believed taken from a home where two people were found dead and their bodies burned, has been arrested, according to the Sebastian County Sheriff’s Office.

Sheriff’s Capt. Philip Pevehouse said in a news release that deputies and firefighters responding to a house fire Thursday found the two bodies burned, outside the burning home.

Pevehouse said neighbors reported a truck missing from the home and that the man was arrested on a theft of property warrant by state police about three hours later after a traffic stop in Booneville, about 15 miles (24 kilometers) east of the home.

Court records do not show that formal charges have been filed. Pevehouse said the man is jailed without bond.

Pevehouse said investigators believe they know the identities of the two victims, but are not releasing the names pending positive identification by the state crime laboratory.
