MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) - Police in Manchester are searching for a man convicted as an accomplice in a 1997 murder of an Epsom police officer who they say walked away from a sober house last weekend.
Police issued an arrest warrant for 40-year-old Kevin Paul, who has been out on parole since late last year, WMUR-TV reported Friday night.
Paul was with Gordon Perry when he shot and killed Epsom police Officer Jeremy Charron in August of 1997. Paul then shot at police officers as the two men tried to make a getaway.
Paul is 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighs 160 pounds and has blue eyes and brown hair. He is considered dangerous and could possess guns, police said.
He could be in one of three cars: a white 2015 Ford Fusion with Tennessee license plate 1P78E2; a silver 2012 Dodge Avenger with Tennessee license plate 5J27C6; or a silver 2005 Honda Accord with Tennessee license plate 7P16D8, police said.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Manchester police.
