PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. (AP) - Yavapai County Sheriff’s officials are searching for a suspect who fired shots into a deputy’s home in Prescott Valley.

They said the bullets nearly struck a sleeping child.

Sheriff’s officials said the shots were fired around 2:30 a.m. Thursday and one of the rounds passed directly over the head of a 4-year-old.



The sheriff’s office and Prescott Valley police are investigating.

Yavapai Silent Witness also is offering a $6,000 reward to anyone with a tip leading to the identification and arrest of the suspect.
