FLORISSANT, Mo. (AP) - The driver of a tractor-trailer has died after being struck and killed after getting out of her truck after it broke down.
KMOV-TV reports that 66-year-old Ollie Hollman of St. Louis died Tuesday after being struck along westbound Interstate 270.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the tractor trailer broke down in the left merge lane at a ramp in north St. Louis County. Hollman got out to put down orange traffic triangles when a Hyunda Kona struck Hollman.
She was pronounced dead at the scene. The other driver remained on the scene.
