WICHITA, Kan. (AP) - Police have arrested a teenager in connection with the fatal shooting of man on Monday.

The shooting happened around 4 p.m. Monday along East Funston Street, police said. Officers called to the scene found Cooper Kelly suffering from a gunshot wound. Kelly later died at a hospital.

Investigators believe the shooting stemmed from a botched drug deal. Witnesses told police Kelly had been in front of a house and talking to someone in a car just before the shooting happened.



Police arrested a 17-year-old boy Tuesday morning on suspicion of felony murder and of being juvenile in possession of a firearm.
