RANDOLPH, Vt. (AP) - A 29-year-old woman faces charges in the Saturday killing of the man she lived with in Randolph, Vermont State Police said.

Victoria Griffin was arrested on suspicion of second-degree murder in connection with the death of 44-year-old Concepcion Cruz, police said on Sunday.

Griffin is accused of fatally stabbing Cruz in their home on Park Street. Police said the two were in a relationship and that four children were in the home during when Cruz was stabbed. The children were not injured and are now in the care of relatives, police said.

An autopsy performed Sunday determined that the death was a homicide.

Griffin was being jailed and is scheduled to be arraigned Monday in the Criminal Division of Vermont Superior Court in Chelsea. It was not clear if she has obtained an attorney.
