BANGOR, Maine (AP) - The death of a man whose body was found in a Union Street home is being investigated as a homicide, Bangor Police said Saturday.

Police were called to 1702 Union Street around 8:30 p.m. Thursday on a report of an unconscious man in the home. Paramedics responding to the scene found that the man was dead.

A post-mortem examination performed on Friday determined that the death was a homicide, police said. The man’s name was not immediately released.



Evidence technicians are continuing to process the scene, police said. The death is being investigated by Bangor Police with help from the state Attorney General’s Office.
