SHARON, Vt. (AP) - A fire destroyed a house in Sharon, Vermont State Police said.

No one was home at the time so there were no injuries, police said.

Fire crews arrived around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday after getting a 911 call. The entire house was engulfed in flames and the roof had already collapsed, police said.

The house is a total loss and fire investigators were unable to determine the origin and cause of the fire because of the complete devastation, police said.
