PEARL RIVER, La. (AP) - Authorities say that three people found dead in a Louisiana home died in a murder-suicide.
The St. Tammany Parish Coroner’s Office identified the dead as 80-year-old Lawrence Lynchard, 75-year-old Barbara Lynchard, and 48-year-old Debra Lynchard. All three lived in the same home.
The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office was called to a home outside of Pearl River, near the Mississippi border, on Sunday night.
The coroner’s office tells news outlets that autopsies will be conducted Monday to determine the cause and manner of death. It’s unclear when the people died.
St. Tammany Parish Sheriff Randy Smith calls it “an isolated incident” and says there’s no reason to believe anyone else was involved.
