CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) - Officials are identifying three people who died in an early Sunday crash in upstate South Carolina.
The Pickens County coroner says 20-year-old Divonte Black and 16-year-old Lenae Ridge. both of Seneca, died before they could be taken to a hospital. Both had to be mechanically extricated.
Another Seneca resident, 18-year-old Triniti Martin, died later Sunday morning at a hospital.
The three were among four people in a 2014 Subaru BRZ that hit a utility pole near Clemson around 1:35 a.m. and rolled over in a field.
Master Trooper Brandon Bolt tells news outlets the fourth person was injured.
The crash remains under investigation.
The coroner says autopsies will be conducted Monday.
Troopers say the driver was the only person wearing a seat belt.
