Seattle police: body found in grass in West Seattle

SEATTLE (AP) - Detectives are investigating after a West Seattle resident found a body in the grass across the driveway of their home.

KOMO-TV reports the Seattle Police Department said a neighbor spotted a body off the road and near some trees in the 6500 block of 25th Ave SW.

Investigators said the body belonged to an adult man and there were signs of trauma.

A neighbor on the same block called dispatch earlier Monday to report several recycling bins knocked down in the street. Police are working to determine if the incidents are related.
