SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - Authorities say two people were killed in a small plane crash in southwest Utah.

The Deseret News reports the crash happened near Hamilton’s Fort on Sunday morning, and the National Transportation Safety Board is investigating.

Ian Gregor, a spokesman for the Federal Aviation Administration, says the single-engine North American Navion plane was flying from Strawberry Valley Estates Airport in Alton to the Cedar City Regional Airport when it crashed. The two victims were the only ones on board.
