NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Two people were killed and three others were injured in a head-on collision in Tennessee, police said.

The accident involving a pickup truck and a car happened early Sunday in the Antioch neighborhood of Nashville, Metropolitan Nashville Police said in a statement.

Both occupants of the westbound car were killed. The statement identified them as Dalton Williams, 21, and Samantha Peevyhouse, 25, both of Centerville. Three people in the pickup truck, including a 5-year-old girl, were injured. They were from Nashville.



The statement said the eastbound pickup truck crossed into the car’s path. The accident remains under investigation.
