ROCHESTER, N.Y. (AP) - Four men and a woman were wounded in a late-night shooting in Rochester, police said.

Officers responding to reports of shots fired about 11:30 p.m. Saturday found an unoccupied vehicle that had been struck by gunfire.

While they were investigating, four victims arrived at Strong Memorial Hospital in private vehicles and fifth person went to Highland Hospital. Police said the injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.

No arrests were immediately made.

Two hours later, the lobby windows of WHEC-TV and a nearby cafe were shattered during an apparent exchange of gunfire, authorities said.

No one was injured but employees of the station dropped to the floor at the sound of gunfire, WHEC reported. News10NBC Vice President and General Manager Richard Reingold said the station was not targeted.

“We are most grateful that all of our colleagues are safe and no one at News10NBC was injured. We appreciate the dedication of our team members who continued station operations uninterrupted,” Reingold said on the station’s website.
