OSAGE BEACH, Mo. (AP) - Two people died when a plane crashed in central Missouri Sunday, authorities said.

Osage Beach Police said the plane crashed near Grand Glaize Airport on Sunday afternoon, killing both people on board. Osage Beach is about 160 miles southeast of Kansas City, Missouri, near the Lake of the Ozarks.

The names of the victims were not immediately released Sunday. Federal officials will investigate the crash.
