CONCORD, Mass. (AP) - Authorities on Friday identified a pedestrian who was struck and killed by a car in Concord on Thursday.

Jennifer Bemis, 67, of Concord was struck Thursday morning at the intersection of Main Street and Thoreau Street, according to Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan and Concord Chief of Police Joseph O’Connor. She was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Authorities say the driver involved in the crash is a 91-year-old Littleton woman. They say she remained at the scene and no charges have been filed at this time.

The investigation is open and ongoing, Ryan’s office said.
