I am a naturalized citizen, having come to this country in 1951. I love the United States of America and revere its national anthem and its flag. I believe that all people should be treated equally and that all lives matter. However, I cannot understand how anyone who has bothered to look up the origin and beliefs of the Black Lives Matter organization can support it.

BLM was founded by self-professed anarchists who espouse to be trained Marxist organizers. They don’t care about Black children being killed in our major cities, such as Chicago; they do nothing to help improve education or housing for the Black community. By supporting Black Lives Matter through signs and printed materials, one signals, intentionally or not, that they are supporting the organization’s platform. No American who loves this country should do this.

Surely elected officials who have permitted, and even encouraged, the presence of Black Lives Matter protestors on our streets have checked into what the movement is all about. Are they Americans who love our country or are they supporters of anarchy and Marxism? What is going on in our country today is despicable. Those who support the riots and the BLM organization should leave our country and find a place they like better. Come on, “silent majority” who love this country, stand up and have your voices be heard. Let everyone know that what is going on is not acceptable, and that we will not allow anarchy or Marxism to take over our beloved land.
