OPINION:
One thing is certain: We are now experiencing what life might be like in America should individual freedom and the idea of federalism be totally abandoned in favor of socialism and government autonomy.
As citizens we need to exercise our God-given abilities, to do what each of us is able to do to ensure America and our founding ideals are preserved.
Campaigns at all levels have been suspended, but you can be assured that the November elections will go on as planned. When casting your vote, one might consider suspending party affiliation and voting for the persons who will honor our ideals and adopt policies and legislative actions that are aligned with those of the people who elect them.
Keep in mind that while we are a nation of immigrants and each has special heritages, we are all Americans, with our rights and freedoms endowed by our creator, not by man.
