SALEM, N.J. (AP) - A woman found dead in her southern New Jersey apartment this week died from multiple stab wounds, authorities said.
Police responding to a 911 call found Darlene Pennewell, 55, in her Salem City Housing Authority apartment around 11:30 a.m. Thursday, according to the Salem County Prosecutor’s Office. But it wasn’t clear when the attack occurred or what sparked the stabbing.
No other injuries were reported in the incident, an no arrests have been made.
