LEWISTON, Maine (AP) - A motorist was killed when his car crashed into guard rails at high speed on the Maine Turnpike in Lewiston, state police said.

Joshua Lussier, 31, of Lewiston, died at the scene after being ejected from his car Monday evening, troopers said.

The crash happened near the Old Lewiston Road overpass. Lussier was not wearing a seat belt, troopers said.
