SPARTANBURG, S.C. (AP) - The 18-month-old daughter of a teen mother who was killed in a crash in South Carolina has also died from injuries sustained in the collision, according to a coroner.

Dallas Jackson was pronounced dead early Friday morning at a hospital in Greenville, Spartanburg County Coroner Rusty Clevenger told news outlets.

The toddler’s mother, Kurshay Jackson, 18, died at the scene of the crash Wednesday morning near Spartanburg, the South Carolina Highway Patrol said.

The teen mother was driving with her daughter and two younger siblings, ages 8 and 9, when her car crossed the center line and collided head-on with another vehicle, troopers said. The siblings and the driver of the other vehicle were hurt and taken to a hospital, news outlets reported. Their conditions were unknown.

Jackson was a senior at Spartanburg High School set to graduate at the end of the school year, according to a statement from District 7 Superintendent Russell Booker.
