AUBURN, Maine (AP) - A Maine woman died in a single-vehicle car crash when her vehicle left the road and struck a utility pole and tree in Auburn, police said.
Police said Jessica Faunce, 25, of Turner, was traveling on Tuesday night when the crash happened. She was treated on the scene by emergency responders and taken to Central Maine Medical Center, where she died, police said.
Police said the cause of the crash is still under investigation, and speed appears to have been a factor.
