Bicyclist struck, killed by train in Palm Beach County

LAKE WORTH, Fla. (AP) - A train fatally struck a bicyclist on the tracks in Palm Beach County on Wednesday night, according to fire rescue officials.

The cyclist died at the scene, Palm Beach County Fire Rescue Capt. Albert Borroto said in a statement.

The area around the tracks was closed for an investigation. Police are conducting an investigation into what happened.

The name of the bicyclist wasn’t released.
