OMAHA, Neb. (AP) - Authorities have identified a man killed in a workplace accident at an Omaha recycling plant.
Television station KETV reports that police say 60-year-old Dilaver Gasa was killed in the industrial accident happened around 8:30 a.m. Thursday at First Star Recycling in southwest Omaha. Police say Gasa was pinned under the bucket of a front end loader. Medics pronounced him dead at the scene.
First Star’s website says it is the area’s largest recycler and employs more than 110 people at its Omaha and Lincoln operations.
