KENT, Wash. (AP) - Authorities say two teens have been arrested for bringing a gun a high school in Kent, Washington.

King County Sheriff’s Sgt. Ryan Abbott says there was no implied threat to Kentwood High School but a parent saw the teens, ages 15 and 16, playing with what turned out to be a gun.

KOMO reports the school was placed on lockdown Friday but it has since been lifted.

It wasn’t immediately revealed if the gun was loaded and an investigation continues.
