LETTERS TO THE EDITOR: Left abandoned self-sufficiency

OPINION:

I’m a lifelong independent voter, age 74. For pretty much all of my life, the adage I’ve adopted has been, “Teach a man to fish, and he will survive on his own.” Today, when I listen to the Democrats, teaching citizens to fend for themselves is not part or their discussion. I don’t see that as a long-term plan for success or survival. If this blatant omission continues to be part of the Democrats’ game plan, they will lose my vote.
