OPINION:
President Trump is right to seek an investigatation of Joe Biden and his son, Hunter Biden, regarding their potentially illegal involvement in Ukraine’s putsch-created/fascist-leaning government (“Biden son’s questionable business deals in Ukraine become campaign liability,” Web, Sept. 22). In fact, we need a far wider investigation into people in the State Department who reportedly derailed the democratic process in Ukraine by encouraging murdering mobs, which resulted in the overthrow of Ukraine’s democratically elected leader, Victor Yanukovich, and started the war.
This illegal foreign meddling cost the United States at least $5 billion. The State Department and Democratic leaders who authorized this incredible waste of U.S.-taxpayer money to support fascist leaders need to be investigated and prosecuted, lest they repeat their malfeasance elsewhere. Their behavior has only brought us closer to a third world war.
