JENSEN, Utah (AP) - Authorities say four adults and one child are recovering after their car rolled off a hill in a popular off-road area in eastern Utah.

According to a news release from the Uintah County Sheriff’s Office the group was driving up a hill Sunday afternoon when the SUV’s tires lost traction and the car began to slide backward.

The driver turned the steering wheel, causing the car to veer off the road and roll over once.

Police have said the child in the car was wearing a seat belt but the adults were not.

One of the adults was flown to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and is in stable condition.

The other passengers were also evaluated at the hospital as a precaution.
