OPINION:
President Trump inherited the most politicized, low-morale, unilaterally disarmed military ever, and he has rebuilt it into the greatest in the world. Now, officers who have been rightly fired for continuing Democratic policies such as “leading from behind” and social engineering with unfair diversity preferences, have no right to complain that Mr. Trump has used his own tactics to reverse President Obama’s ruinous politicization.
Mr. Trump got more than $700 billion for two years to rebuild the military after Mr. Obama’s disastrous defense cuts. Mr. Trump gave clear missions to accomplish and raised the morale of soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines. He increased combat readiness and cancelled many detrimental rules of engagement and politically correct regulations. He saved the military from unilateral disarmament and engaged the enemies of freedom and America, ensuring that we would win. Now it is wrong for sore losers and leftist American generals to write articles and books complaining about alleged politicization by Mr. Trump, who fixed the true politicization and has made the military great again.
