CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - Wyoming Business Council CEO Shawn Reese has announced he will be leaving the state’s chief economic development agency.
Reese says in a statement that he plans to spend more time with his family and noted it is a good time for a CEO change at the agency.
No specific date for the end of his tenure has been set, but it will be by the end of the year.
Reese has been CEO of the council since June 2014.
Council co-chairwoman Megan Goetz, of Laramie, says she has talked with Gov. Mark Gordon and the two will work with the council board to develop a process for hiring a new CEO.
