SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - Authorities say a pedestrian is dead in the Salt Lake City suburb of Millcreek after he was struck by a car while crossing a street.
The name of the 68-year-old man who died hasn’t been released yet.
Unified Police say the fatal collision occurred around 9:30 p.m. Saturday.
They say the man wasn’t using a crosswalk at the time and died at the scene.
According to Salt Lake City TV station KSL, police say the driver involved in the fatal collision is cooperating with investigators and there’s no suspicion of impairment at this time.
