LA HABRA, Calif. (AP) - Officials say a Southern California police officer was injured when the driver of a stolen car rammed his patrol vehicle.

Police say the motorist sped off in the Nissan Altima after the collision Thursday in La Habra.

Authorities say the driver intentionally crashed the Nissan into the officer’s car.

The Orange County Register reports the officer was released after being treated at a hospital for minor injuries.
