FLORENCE, S.C. (AP) - A new partnership between Coastal Carolina University and the South Carolina Technical College System will make it easier for students to transfer to CCU.

WPDE-TV reports dozens were on hand Thursday as the presidents of the two entities signed the agreement.

It will allow students with an associate degree from any of the 16 technical colleges across the state to transfer to CCU as a junior, meaning they can start focusing on their major of choice right away.

Students looking to transfer just need to have a “C’’ or better in all of their classes.
