MIAMI (AP) - Subtropical Storm Rebekah is expected to soon weaken into a post-tropical cyclone it spins far out over the Atlantic Ocean.

The U.S. National Hurricane Center says the storm’s maximum sustained winds Thursday evening were 45 mph (75 kph).

Rebekah is centered about 405 miles (652 kilometers) northwest of the Azores and is moving east at about 20 mph (32 kph).



There are no coastal watches or warnings in effect.
