GARRISON, Neb. (AP) - Authorities say five people were injured when a vehicle ran into a train in eastern Nebraska’s Butler County.
Deputies were sent to the scene north of Garrison around 7 a.m. Tuesday. The vehicle carrying all five was headed west on Nebraska Highway 92 when it struck the northbound train.
The five were taken to a local hospital, and three later were taken to a hospital in Lincoln. Their names have not been released.
The crash is being investigated.
