WILMOT, N.H. (AP) - Police in New Hampshire say it appears that excessive speed was a factor in a crash that killed a motorcyclist in Wilmot.

They said 72-year-old Steven Berkeley, of Springfield, New Hampshire, was traveling north on Route 4A on Monday night when he crossed the center line, lost control of his motorcycle and crashed. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are investigating.
