WILKINSBURG, Pa. (AP) - Authorities say several shots were fired into an occupied car that soon crashed into several other vehicles and a building, leaving a man dead and two women wounded.

But it’s not clear what sparked the shooting in Wilkinsburg, which happened around 9:25 p.m. Sunday.

Authorities say a 22-year-old man and the two women, ages 21 and 25, had just left a home and gotten into a car when several shots rang out. The male driver sped off and but soon crashed, ending up in a nearby yard.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. The women were being treated for injuries that are not considered life-threatening.

It’s not clear how many shooters may have been involved or what type of weapon was used.
