LAS VEGAS (AP) - Authorities say preliminary information indicates speed and weather are apparent factors in a fatal crash Thursday night on a wet roadway in metro Las Vegas.

The Nevada Highway Patrol said car’s driver was killed Thursday night when it spun out of control and collided with another vehicle on a ramp between U.S. 95 and Lake Mead Boulevard.

Two passengers in the car suffered minor injuries.

Trooper Jacob Buratczuk said none of the car’s occupants were wearing seatbelts and that could be a contributing factor.
